Description

Aerocolor is a concentrated liquid acrylic with incredible adhesive and colour strength available in 36 brilliant Standard colours, 12 opaque TOTALCOVER colours, and 24 exceptional effect colours.

These intensely pigmented, highly lightfast colours mix easily to an unlimited number of shades, and can be used for any liquid acrylic painting technique, including use with brush, refillable marker, airbrush, dip pen, and direct from the pipette.

Aerocolor can be used on almost any grease-free surface, including paper, canvas, plexiglass and metal, and a range of mediums allows work on difficult surfaces such as leather, silk, and wool.

The stable 28ml glass bottle has a pipette that measures accurately for colour mixing, and selected colours are also available in 250ml and 1000ml plastic containers.

TOTALCOVER colours are satin mat and highly lightfast, allowing you to work directly on dark surfaces, even on black.

Colour swatch shows colour on white surface (top) and colour on black surface (bottom).

ABOUT SCHMINCKE
Schmincke began at the end of the 19th Century, when the colour chemists Josef Horadam and Hermann Schmincke saw an opportunity to provide the artists of the day with a truly superior artists oil, and so set out to Italy where traditional studio painting was still taught, in search of the nearly forgotten resin oil formulations.
In 1881, at the Academy of Fine Art in Florence, they secured the precision formulations of the Professor Cesare Mussini, a guardian of the old masters techniques, and on these formulations, the two founded their manufacturing establishment under the name H.Schmincke and Co.

In subsequent years, artists' colours to suit all techniques were introduced, such as Josef Horadam's patent watercolours of 1892. Through the entire 20th century, every generation of owner has lead the company to its current position as one of the worlds leading manufacturers of finest artists' colour.
